“Thank you, Minneapolis! While this wasn’t the result we wanted, I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our grassroots campaign,” the candidate said in a post-election statement. “I’ll keep fighting alongside you to build the city we deserve. Onward.”
Abdulkadir Daaci said : “With just a small margin — 73,000 to 65,000 final round votes — we proved that our message for change is powerful and growing,”
