The Iranian government has responded to the Donald Trump administration’s threats of possible military action and increased economic and port sanctions against Iran.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said such measures are not the solution and that the United States should instead engage in dialogue with Iran and lift the pressure imposed on the country.
“Military action and increased sanctions against Iran are not the solution. The United States has already failed in this matter and in direct conflict,” said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
Tehran has presented conditions for mediation, including lifting U.S. restrictions on Iranian ports, releasing frozen Iranian funds, and unconditionally ending the war against Iran.
