The Federal Government has nominated Abdifatah Hassan Afrah, the former Governor of Hiiraan Region, as a candidate for the Vice President of Hirshabelle State. He has also been issued a JSP party candidate card.
This comes at a time when some politicians and traditional elders from Hiiraan had wanted him to become the leader of the administration, while opposing his return as vice president.
